Last week, the U.S. Department Commerce authorized new approved types of containers and box weights for tomatoes that modify the previous Tomato Box Weight Chart. Please see the attached New box weight chart with these changes.

The updated chart includes a new presentation for TOV round tomato in Clamshell 6X2.4 Lb. (NT-RR-018), and modifies 2 of the previous TOVs by averaging their weights with similar packages requested. These are: Box for TOV 2 layer 6X4 Lb. (NT-TOV-007) and TOV in Bags of 13 Lb. (NT-TOV-008).

Please note that the attached chart is the official box weight chart and will be in effect until the U.S. Department of Commerce updates it.
