The FPAA joined a coalition of 45 other groups urging CBP to maintain rail shipments through two key ports of entry.  This is part of a larger initiative to ensure commercial processing at ports of entry and to reiterate the importance of trade to both countries.  CBP faces greater challenges on its resources as it is called away from ports of entry to assist Border Patrol with migrant processing.  The FPAA and other allied groups continue to reach out to Members of Congress on the importance of ensuring adequate resources to processing the legitimate trade and travel through ports of entry.
