Olli- UA Gets a Tour of the Ciruli Brothers Warehouse
On Monday, November 13 FPAA hosted an Olli-UA Tour. Allison Moore of the FPAA has been working closely with Olli- UA to provide tours of local fresh produce companies to adults over the age of 50 seeking to continue a lifelong learning program. The tour began at the FPAA office where Allison gave a presentation of produce industry. The group then headed over to the Ciruli Brothers Warehouse where Chris Ciruli presented about the company and then gave a tour of the warehouse. Chris also provided the group with a variety of vegetables including varieties of squash, eggplant, and green beans.
The group learned about the chain of supply in the produce industry and how the produce market works, they also had the opportunity to ask any questions. FPAA will be working with Olli-UA to provide tours of several fresh produce companies around Nogales!
